Cancellation Policy


Moving deposits are taken to secure space on an available truck, so if you must cancel your move, please do so as soon as possible. Broker/Booking Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellation requests must be in writing and must be received by Budget Van Lines more than seven (7) days prior to the first requested pickup date. Customers may send cancellation requests by email (dispatch@budgetvanlines.com), USPS, overnight courier or by fax to (888) 850-1904. Moves cancelled more than seven (7) days prior to the first requested pickup date will be entitled to a refund of any prepayment (deposit) of the carrier total. Moves cancelled within seven (7) days of the first requested pickup date are NON-REFUNDABLE. Broker/Booking Fees will only be refunded if Budget Van Lines cancels a customer's move due to carrier unavailability or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control, in which case Budget Van Lines will also refund the prepayment (deposit). This is the full extent of Budget Van Lines' liability when it cancels a move.
